Early 1950s English Football Logos

With the Premier League set to kick off this weekend I thought I’d scan some vintage English football club logos. Taken from an early 50s season yearbook, the illustrative style of the era lends warmth and a sense of artisan pride. Clearly many of the clubs echo their traditional emblems in their present-day branding.
